Student Leadership Survey: Access Here – https://forms.gle/iYStrbpHj37yoa4z7

Don’t forget, if you are in grades 6-8 and interested in getting homework help, participating in art, robotics, drama, sports and more, we have a free after school program we are offering to the first 100 families that sign up! So far, we have 89 spots filled, so there is still some room if interested! Check last night’s update for more details.

For grades K-5, we are in the works of securing grant funding for a program as well – so stay tuned! If you are in grades K-5, do not fill out the Google Form from last night’s update as it is only for grades 6-8 at this time.

Finally, I have attached the high school information presentation from today for your review. Thank you to everyone who made the webinar!

Have a blessed evening,

A quote from Pope Francis:

Dear Families,

Happy Election Day! I hope you all have had a blessed and safe day. As we follow the election process tonight and this week, I wanted to share an inspirational quote from Pope Francis to remind us of our unity in all of this chaos:

A quote from Pope Francis:

“Unity does not imply uniformity; it does not necessarily mean doing everything together or thinking in the same way. Nor does it signify a loss of identity. Unity in diversity is actually the opposite: it involves the joyful recognition and acceptance of the various gifts which the Holy Spirit gives to each one and the placing of these gifts at the service of all members of the Church. It means knowing how to listen, to accept differences, and having the freedom to think differently and express oneself with complete respect towards the other who is my brother or sister. Do not be afraid of differences!” 10/31/14

Here are some updates regarding tomorrow’s planned sessions!

Happy Tuesday!

Dear Families,

Happy Tuesday! I hope you found the recording and resources for today’s Coffee Talk useful! Information on tomorrow’s events is listed below as well as a quick update regarding our Religion Program – My Catholic Faith Delivered.

My Catholic Faith Delivered
This is the digital program we are using for religious instruction this year in grades K-8. Your child was sent an account invitation via email – many ended up in the spam folder so I would check there first if you do not see it in your child’s inbox! As a note, there is no physical text for Religion, however, teachers will be enriching lessons with hands on activities and writing assignments, as well as what students are learning and completing in the program.

Events for Wednesday 10/28/2
Class Colors Day! Your class votes on a class color to wear – If you didn’t get to it today, no worries! You can wear Fall Colors!

A prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas

Dear Families,

Welcome to Wednesday! In tonight’s update, I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude and appreciation for the entire St. Thomas Aquinas community – for our teachers and staff, for you and your children – we are blessed to be together as a community of faith in the light and love of God. For tonight, I would like to share with you a prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas and dedicate it to each and every one of you, who have committed to an education in God’s grace and love. Thank you.

O merciful God, grant that I may ever perfectly do Your Will in all things.
Let it be my ambition to work only for Your honor and glory.
Let me rejoice in nothing but what leads to You, nor grieve for anything that leads away from You.
